Joakim started out as an editor working for Spanish and international media clients producing content in areas as diverse as news, corporate, documentaries, pop-promos, and more before jumping into the director-producer’s chair. He's made a name for himself in Spain as a promo-producer for image-conscious channels like Canal Plus, Disney Channel and NBC-Universal Studios for both Calle 13 and SyFy.

Gabriel blends into each final cut his love of cinema with an agency criteria learned during a decade producing commercials for top clients in Spain. His second decade in the biz has seen him draw inspiration from trademark cinema directors to prioritise an effective script and style over gratuitous post-pro effects in his direction and edit of spots, high-end corporate and music videos. While always open to suggestion, it is his clear vision on set that permits GS to shoot for the edit suite in a time and cost-effective turnaround.
